Big Mario’s is a local pizzeria chain with 5 locations in greater Seattle area. Our first location is in the neighborhood of Capitol Hill - feeding concert going patrons, musicians, students and neighborhood industry folk for many years before expanding our locations to serve the greater North Seattle area through White Center in South Seattle.
The Big Mario’s goal has always been to make the best NY style pizza coupled with most nostalgic parlors and dive bars. While our motto has always been "bigger is better!” this is never at the expense of using the best available ingredients. As a result Big Mario’s has received city’s best accolades and awards for not only is Pizza program, but its bar experience. You can join us for take in dining & drinking, take out and home delivery.

THE HISTORY
Big Mario’s Pizza truly began in New York City, when Mario Vellotti arrives in 1964 from Italy. He spent many years working in all the big New York pizza places learning the craft of making high-quality pizza. He joined up with his uncle and brother to open their own pizza restaurants in New York City, including Sal’s on Broome. Eventually, Mario moved to Seattle to start Big Mario’s Pizza, bringing great-tasting pizza to the pacific northwest. And the rest is history!
