OUR HISTORY
The reason why big Mario’s Pizza is known for its great quality is Mario Vellotti himself. He came to New York City from Naples in the 1960s. While in New York, he took the time to know all he could about pizza, including working in some of the top pizza places of the day. Afterwards, he and his family opened several pizza places in the five boroughs. Mario came to Seattle with great knowledge of the art of making pizza and opened Big Mario’s Pizza so Seattle residents could enjoy the pizza he loved.
